Product Review | Tessemae’s Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing

It’s no secret that I love Tessemaes.

Anything this brand puts out into the world, I’m immediately a fan. The quality of their ingredients and commitment to only use natural ingredients is very important, especially when it comes to condiments.

This is just a theory, but when I began my healthy eating journey, my biggest pitfall was condiments because they were just filled with so much crap. Instead of being the healthy fat vehicle for nutrients in veggies to enter your body, dressings and such were full of stuff I couldn’t pronounce, heavy creams and fell short on flavor if they were one of the “healthy dressings.”

Lucky for all of us, we have brands like Tessemae’s making it their mission to produce quality, all-natural condiments. Most of their dressings are SO natural, they are Whole30 approved! Now that’s something to note.

Ok, so now you know my feelings on why dressings and condiments are so important, let’s get on with my review of the Tessemae’s Organic Creamy Caesar Dressing. Because who loves themselves a good Caesar salad?

Just look at all these great ingredients!

The Taste:

The dressing has a delicious flavor, leaning more on the peppery side with its ingredients featuring mustards & vinegars. With classic Caesar dressings having a creamy taste, this version doesn’t disappoint on that characteristic despite being dairy-free. Including lemon in the recipe is genius and adds a depth to the flavor that pairs really well with strong leafy greens like kale. Personally, I squeeze more lemon on my greens before tossing them in this Caesar dressing, but otherwise you get a nice mix of traditional Caesar flavors you love that lean a bit more into the vinaigrette family of dressings.

The Texture:

Creamy enough to make you feel guilty for eating it, but without the real gut-punch culprit itself (a.k.a. dairy in the cheese or cream). Also, you can’t have a good Caesar salad without the dressing being able to coat all your lettuce and this dressing does it perfectly!

The Price:

I have only been able to locate Tessemae’s dressings at Whole Foods lately and their price is around $5 a bottle. However, you can buy dressing packs or Whole30 starter packs of dressings directly from Tessemae’s website here.
